Wisconsin Farmers Foundation, Inc.

Dear Friends of Wisconsin Farm Families:

For many years Wisconsin’s faith community has been very generous in support of family farms that are struggling to survive. The Wisconsin Farmers Foundation, Inc. has been a vehicle for providing such support. After many years of making grants to farmers; sponsoring retreats for farm couples; and encouraging education about farm and rural issues, the Wisconsin Farmers Foundation has decided to cease operation. We encourage donors who wish to support farm families to make contributions to Harvest of Hope and to the Churches Center for Land and People. We invite your congregation to assist Wisconsin farm families with offerings from your Thanksgiving worship service. We encourage you to consider sending your contribution to one (or both) of the following:

Harvest of Hope Fund c/o Madison Christian Community

7118 Old Sauk Rd.

Madison, WI 53717

Attn.: Roger Williams

Harvest of Hope makes grants directly to family farmers (just as WFFI has done over the years).

Churches’ Center for Land and People

4200 County Highway M

Middleton WI, 53562

Attn.: Tony Ends

cclp@tds.net / scotchhillfarm@wekz.net

608 831-9319.

Watch for new additions to the winter farmers market calendar at the Center’s new web site:

www.cclpmidwest.org

CCLP emphasizes earth stewardship, justice, and shared commitment CCLP serves as a voice for rural perspectives and concerns, organizing farmers market opportunities and bringing people together to strengthen rural life.

Thank you for your tremendous support over the years. WFFI is very grateful for the opportunity to help so many families over the years and to provide a connection between congregations and farm families.
